Review of The Loss of a Teardrop Diamond (2008) by Joel B — 06 Sep 2010
The movies definitely had it's beautiful moments. It wasn't really the movie or the actors I had a problem with. I was surprisingly pleased with both Bryce Dallas Howard and Chris Evans, both of whom I expected less from (though they still need work, BDH in particular).
It's really the play itself I have problems with. Tennessee Williams fan or not, he dropped the ball (or earring) on this one. It just doesn't come together for me like it should. It's a little scattered feeling.
No fluidity. And not too memorable either.
