Review of The Lords of Salem (2013) by Bernie F — 23 Apr 2013

Zombie seems to have matured as a director, and does a good job at creating atmospheric tension and good cinematography rather than over the top gore and trying to make us cringe as he's done in his last couple movies.

Too bad, as the movie starts to really falter near the end where it doesn't know what it's doing anymore and decides to throw as much hypnotic craziness at us as possible without having a good sense of pacing to make it really work.
