Review of The Lords of Salem (2013) by Joseph C — 28 Apr 2013

Starts out OK, but just never seems to reach a decent climax. Rob Zombie uses some strange imagery, maybe to disguise the fact that the story is very one sided and uninteresting. The film has no protagonist, no one to root for.

The could have been protagonist, the main character who is at the center of the story, has zero control over what is happening to and around her. Most of the supporting characters (at least the interesting ones), make very little to no difference in how the story unfolds in the end.
