I was really looking forward to this, as a Rob Zombie fan, but it's so immensely disappointing. The visuals are fantastic, and there's a couple of good scares, but the movie cannot thrive on those alone.
The script leaves much to be desired, and I'm all for ambiguous endings... but this one doesn't provide a satisfactory conclusion. I still have faith in Rob Zombie, and consider him a breath of fresh air in the horror community.
I just patiently wait for his eventual masterpiece.
