Review of The Lords of Salem (2013) by Robert D — 06 Sep 2013
This is like a butt-rock version of "Rosemary's Baby." Rob Zombie goes for creepy atmosphere this time instead of shocking vulgarity, and it kind of works. It's great to see Dee Wallace vamp it up as the witch downstairs, and Sheri Moon is always game for whatever her husband dishes out.
Easily Zombie's most striking film.
