The second installment in Peter Jackson's Lord of the Rings is perhaps the lesser of the three but only by a slow segment involving Pippin and Merry and "Treebeard" but, that aside, it provides more excitement, more action, and more fantastic landscapes than ever before, The Two Towers is another unforgettable piece of cinema that just gets better and better.
