Even at 220 mins in length this is as brilliant and as epic as any of the LOTR or Hobbit films has gotten. Devoid of the slow formation of the "fellowship" and the laborious climax of The Return Of The King, The Two Towers is a flawless cinematic adventure.
The Helms Deep battle is unrivaled by any other and there is genuine dramatic moments - the battle for Smeagal's soul is brilliantly handled for example. A+.
