Review of The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers (2002) by Jake M — 25 Sep 2017
Gandalf's third act arrival, when all hope seems lost, is one of the greatest moments in film history. An unbelievable sequel that I enjoyed more than the excellent first movie. Special effects that still for the most part hold up, an unbelievable climax, and Gollum/Smeagle stealing the show combine to make this my favorite of the trilogy.
Almost, if not as good as The Dark Knight.
