The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers is a 2002 epic high fantasy adventure film directed by Peter Jackson.
This second in the trilogy doesn't quite match the first, with a weaker plot and some slower scenes. But it builds the drama nicely for the final chapter. The highest grossing film of 2002. My favourite film of 2002.
