It's nothing like the book, but I've learned to live with the changes throughout the years. In my opinion, it's a typical sequel. It's good but not great like the first film. Nevertheless, it's still a very well-made masterpiece, and the Helm's Deep sequence is one of the greatest action sequences ever.
