I really liked all of Jackson's trilogy films. Yes, I read the JRRK's books as a teenager. I never thought that any film rendering of The Lord of The Ring would ever approach the scope and artistry of the books.
This does and then some. Still, Gimli and Logolas having a contest on who could kill the most Orcs fell flat.
