Review of The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King (2003) by Paula K — 21 Dec 2015
This is a great 5/5 movie. The epic finale in Peter Jackson's masterpiece wows everyone with winning 11 Academy Awards. While Frodo continues his journey to Mordor, Aragorn struggles to fulfill his destiny as he leads his outnumbered troops against the Sauron's growing power of Mordor.
Howard Shore doesn't disappoint with his soundtrack that wins him an Academy award. Peter Jackson puts all his effort with winning best director and best adapted screenplay. All the bits and pieces wins best picture of the year for the grand finale of the trilogy beating Bill Murray's comedy "Lost in Translation".
Definitely a fresh tomato!
