Review of The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King (2003) by Gareth T — 06 Jul 2013
The best of he trilogy. This final chapter takes the characters to their absolute limit. Once again, the acting, the direction, the CGI, the music, the lighting, the script and the editing is all almost flawless.
As close to a perfect movie as you could get. Best scene is not exactly a scene, but more two sequences that lead straight into each other and take place only a few hundred metres away from one another.
Those are the battle or Minas Tirith and the battle of Pelennor Fields.
