Review of The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King (2003) by Sam H — 18 May 2014
The Tone seemed to have changed from the last two (It feels closer to Towers than Fellowship) now it becomes this massive, epic opera - which isn't a bad thing. However my gripes would be the Ghost Army AKA cop out (It may have been the source material but whatever I haven't read them - I tried but the first few pages was LITERALLY talking about a gardener, a boat and a river.
Too much work.) After the Cop Out army cue 6.5 endings. All in all a fairly good swan song... until the Hobbit came along.
