Review of The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King (2003) by Tom W — 04 Nov 2014
It has come to this. The last film of the greatest epic trilogy of all time. The final battle between men and the Orcs has come to life as it is one of the darkest yet dramatic Final battles in a cinema.
Gandalf seeks help from every soldiers alive as he come to the King of Kings castle and gather these soldiers to fight against the incoming orcs. Aragorn and King Thoeden also gathers the men of Rohan.
Frodo, Sam and Smeagol continues their journey to destroy the One Ring. All of these in an epic story that we will dearly miss for a very long time. Hans Zimmer's musical pieces creates a great impact to a film that is almost perfect in every way.
Every performances, and the story writing is deeply tremendous. Amazing cast, amazing cinematography and visually stunning. Special effects, well made CGI and motion capture, added with epic original soundtrack.
LOTR Return of The King is the best way to end an epic fantasy adventure that fans have been looking for. 5 out of 5 stars!
