The Return of the King is masterpiece in every sense of the word. Peter Jackson concluded his trilogy with one of the best films ever conceived to film and created one of the most emotional three and a half hours at the theatre you will ever experience.
The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King is a true fantasy film that delivers on all levels. This last installment could of easily came crashing down on itself, but somehow manages to surpass all expectations.
And fittingly The Return of the King was rewarded 11 Oscars including Best Picture. The first and only fantasy/adventure film to ever receive that honor.
