Review of The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring (2001) by Wilman A — 19 Dec 2013
One of the greatest adventure movie ever made. It was nominated for thirteen Oscars at the 74th Academy Awards ceremony, winning four for Best Cinematography, Best Makeup, Best Original Score, and Best Visual Effects.
The most sophisticated movie in that year and very clever directing from Peter Jackson. Rising Star Elijah Wood showed his true character in this movie. if you want watch this sequel consecutively at this moment you can start from this movie (Fellowship of The ring) then "Hobbit" (2012) and then "The Two Towers" and "Return of The King" beside Hobbit (2013) release and then you will get the idea completely.
one of the best storyline of sequel and smart writing i`ve ever read and seen. full packaging movie including sad, tense and exciting sensation. what the best in this movie is it hasn`t lost its interest and important part from its novel.
this movie can exceeds our expectations about image and every single detail we can imagine while read the novel. even you can`t compare it too much gap than every fantasy movie this year (2013). "After Earth" ? " Enders Game" ? sure this movie didn`t lose so much in visual effect and cosmetology.
in those year (2001) sure this movie brought sense of wonder and magnificent for every audience. this is how the great adventure movie should be and talk.
