The exceptional beginning to one of the great stories ever told, this movie is as faithful to the original book as it could have hoped to be. Carried by strong performances by the entire cast, in particular Sean Bean as Boromir and Ian Mckellan as Gandalf, this movie will make you cry, cheer, fear, and quite simply amaze you.
The effects are top notch and the story is classic. Just sit back and enjoy.
