Review of The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring (2001) by Kareem A — 13 Sep 2014
I look at the Lord of the Rings trilogy one whole movie divided as three films, just like the book. The book was actually written as one big book but was divided as three for marketing purposes. Now that being said, part one of this beautiful and untouchable trilogy is as good as rest of the series. If it flows well into the rest of the trilogy while having the same entertainment value of the other two movies, it definitely does it's job.
The Fellowship of the Ring has memorable performances, the adapted screenplay does the book justice, and is paced perfectly switching through the different characters and giving life and character to them each. Part one of this trilogy is as good as parts two and three. An adventure I view on repeat and is timeless. (10/10).
