Review of The Lord of the Rings (1978) by Rachel C — 07 Jan 2012

Being a huge fan of the books and movies, I decided to give this version a go, and was pleasantly surprised. I wasn't expecting much after all of the reviews I'd read, but apart from a small handful of annoyances, it was well worth the watch.

First of all, I read that they ran out of money, so could not make any more of it which is why it unexpectedly stops. The "Aruman" mistake didn't bother me too much when I found out that they didn't have a chance to go back and correct it, and it was because of people getting confused with Saruman and Sauron (duh!).

Also.. I really wish that Aragorn and Boromir would just put some pants on. Seriously.
