Review of The Lord of the Rings (1978) by Tobias E — 18 Mar 2012
It follows the story of the first two books faithfully. Unfortunately, everything except for the way the story was handled, was so bad. The animation and effect were bad, even for the 70s. The voice acting is stupid as the Black Cauldron.
If you are a die hard fan of the books, you'll like it okay. But if you've seen the Peter Jackson films, you probably won't enjoy this.
