Review of The Lord of the Rings (1978) by Cameron S — 25 Jul 2012
Compared to the Peter Jackson Lord of the Rings movies, this really cannot compare at all. It isn't horrible but is not good either. I will say Frodo's character was much more heroic and strong willed in this version than in Peter Jacksons, but that is not nearly enough to put it even in the same league with the other Lord of the Rings movies.
