I have always enjoyed this version of Lord of the Rings. The look of it is rather nice, plus the rotorscoped parts have a certain charm to them. I wish the animated The Return of the King could have been made by Bakshi instead of Rankin and Bass as well as the animated the Hobbit but still, this will always be the best animated Tolkien film in my eyes.
