I have the money! I have the power! N! So, seeing that that kid from 500 Days of Summer that also played the Jason X version of Cobra Commander in it, I decided to finally watch this after it had been sitting by my television since September. Let me start out by saying that I didn't know he was retarded the whole damn movie. I just thought he got caught up in the wrong crowd. In all fairness, I only said he was retarded, he was in a automobile accident and it messed up his frontal lobe. So, he can't remember shit. At the same time, the accident DID retard his ability to remember. So, technically, he is retarded.

Basically, this cat was popular in school and made a bad decision that cost him his memories, his relationship, and two of his buddies' lives. Now, he lives with a blind Jeff Daniels and goes to bars to order O'Douls. Seriously? So, finally some cat chooses him and Sasha Baron Cohen's gal sexes the retarded fellow and it all builds from there. Oh, and for some reason, the bad guys (along with the stereotypical silent indian cat with with sunglasses and a long coat) lives at this old guy's place. We see the old guy once and he is never mentioned again. But, do I feel bad for the old guy? Not really. I do not think for a second that he was harmed in any way. In fact, I think he probably was fed better than he had been in the previous 15 years of his life. Just saying.

The movie is kinda slow and predictable. Jeff Daniels is actually the best part and the best actor in the whole damn movie. Joseph Gordon-Levitt is usually a pretty good actor. I feel that he was just acting or trying to hard to act the part in this one. It was like watching a school play in his performance.

It technically is not a bad movie. It is just underperformed. This is a movie that Phil and I could've made about 5 years ago. It is definitely a movie that if they decided to come back and remake it in about 10 years, it would be a lot better. It worked, but like I said, the acting was just kinda phoned in.

Wait for cable.
