Review of The Lookout (2007) by Sarah B — 15 Mar 2009
This low-key crime thriller features the most intriguing characters you could expect to see in film, outside of a noir. The lookout of the title is our protagonist a tragic figure played by Joseph Gordon Levitt, fast becoming the best actor of his generation.
However Matthew Goode gives him a run for his money with his charismatic criminal manipulator. Would've liked to have seen more of the wonderful Isla Fisher, but otherwise this film is perfect.
