The director of "The Act of Killing" delivers yet another big documentary. I felt that his newest feature are much more direct than his last effort as we are following a man that confronts the guys from the death squad that killed thousands of socalled "communists" - including his own brother.

Many interviews are shared on screen while Adi - the brother of the murdered Ramli talks to the horrible people. He often does so as an optometrist - his actual job. It's a very cruel and direct film. The confrontation is deserved and an hard watch. I'm actually fascinated - if not disgusted of how incredibly sadistic and gruesome these fellas are. We get many archive videos of Ramli's killers as they brag and show us in detail how they killed him. They all seem like loons and very unintelligent people with their blood drinking and hate.

I liked this film a whole lot better than "The Act of Killing" actually. This film is for me less forgettable - it's actually quite the opposite.

8 out of 10 eye-examiner glasses.
