Review of The Longest Yard (2005) by T-Pain P — 05 Feb 2014
HaHaHaHaHaHaa... HaHaHaHaHaHaa!!! HaHaHaHaHaHaa!!!! HaHaHaHaHaHaa!!!!!!! This movie is a joke. "The Longest Yard (2005)", and I repeat, the Longest Yard (2005) in quotes. There really isn't that much to say about Peter Segal's work in this movie.
It was a disaster, a complete disaster from the very beginning. Adam Sandler, supposedly the man of comedy (the man with much comedy) and Chris Rock was supposed to bring the funny here and there. I did not receive the funny from neither of them.
It was a disappointment really. The Longest Yard (2005) deserves 2 stars. I really would like to give this movie 1 stars, or even a half of a star if I really felt like it, however, as always, the Original Motion Picture Soundtrack comes in to save the day.
I'm not saying that the (OST) was the lifesaver to this movie, "h*ll no!". If it weren't for the work of these composers, movies would not be movies. The football game in the end was well directed, but it lagged the hysterical mood that I was looking for.
It was all about being serious and whatnot. Peter Segal could have done a better job with this movie. I'm done.
