Review of The Longest Ride (2015) by Martin G — 09 Apr 2015
Few of the movie adaptations of Nicholas Sparks' books have impressed me, "The Longest Ride" was on the mark. I think it had to do with Sparks himself being a producer of the film, so it didn't steer far away from the book.
I was so deeply enthralled by the actors' performances. Scott Eastwood - son of the great Clint Eastwood - performed such a stellar performance in his first lead role. Hopefully there'll be more for him to come.
