I am a Nicholas Sparks lover, but if you're not, you probably won't be a huge fan of this movie. Let's state the obvious, Scott Eastwood is a babe and I think most women would pay to watch him play checkers, so that's all there is to say about that.
Britt Robertson is one of my favorite young actresses who brings a lot of quality to a rather one dimensional character. The real standout though is the relationship between Ruth & Ira. While Eastwood & Robertson are awesome to look at and you root for them to make it, the old man's flashbacks to life with his beloved Ruth had many in the theater pulling out tissues.
All in all, you leave the movie believing in love and what's so bad about that? Enjoy!!
