Eh, it was ok. I would def not compare it to The Notebook, Dear John, or Adeline. The side story was great, Ruth and Ira's story felt real. Both actors connected to their character and did an awesome job.
That's the kind of acting that made the Notebook so great! But the main story is a bore. Their acting was sooo fake. Disney kid stars are 10x better. Scenes w/ the nurse remind me of high school play actors.
They could have done a much better job w/ casting this movie. Only gets two stars b/c of the Ruth & Ira story... and hottie bull rider...
