Review of The Longest Ride (2015) by Robbie L — 15 Aug 2015
I am not one to down a movie just because it is romance or a Nicholas Sparks story. Unfortunately, this one is really only half good. And the half that is good is not the one advertised. Britt Robertson is just not good and Scott Eastwood does not have the experience to hold a movie.
Also, their story is very dull and predicable. The whole movie would have been a lot better if it was all based on the opposite couple based in the 40's. They were much better actors and characters and I only wanted to hear their story.
It is still not the worst of Nicholas Sparks movies, it just falls right in the forgettable middle.
