It's always a dead giveaway when the snotty critics downgrade such a harmless movie as this wonderful little piece by Sparks, played so well by a professional cast headed by Alan Alda. Critics: this IS the kind of movie Hollywood should be making these days, complex situations that often times work out in the end, just like real life! Go, sit back and enjoy a slice of real American life.
