Review of The Longest Day (1962) by Nicolas A — 05 Feb 2009
Great classic war epic based on the events from the landing in Normandie. The story is told very well, cinematography, directing and some of the acting are all great. Henry Fonda is one of my favoirte actors but I dont think war movies is something for him, in this movie he was standing on the beach at Normandy with only a walking stick I didnt see no gun on him.
But on the other hand Robert Mitchum and John Wayne where increddibly, both 2 magnificant performances.
