Let me laugh at all the people who say that Saving Private Ryan is a better movie. WOW....did you buy into that false, cheap Hollywood drama and contrived story.

This movie told the story of D-Day, from all sides and from all point of view. We get and feel the Allied invasion of Normandy. We also see the German response as well as the native resistance to the Axis.

The whole city scene with the nuns walking down and the tactical battle as it enfolds is far more engrossing than anything Spielberg has done.
