Want to see a movie that has every actor of the period in it? Look no futher than The Longest Day. To me, this is perhaps the greatest WWII film ever made. Though it is slow, it is very well paced and is a delight to watch unfold.
Though others have long since offered a more graffic depiction of D-Day, this was the first of those massive endeavors. A classic.
