May be not as realistic as Saving Private Ryan, but The Longest Day packs an epic punch. Robert Mitchum, John Wayne, Henry Fonda, Richard Burton, Richard Beymer, Kenneth More, Rod Steiger, Robert Wagner and Sean Connery give breathtaking performances in the astonishing retelling of D-Day.
