After Saving Private Ryan, The Longest Day makes the D-Day invasion look like a cake walk! However this is still a masterpiece, with a cast of over 40 international stars, and 2 years to make this is still a strong classic film! I also enjoy the fact that the Germans speak German which is something you didn't see too often in war films!
