When films were heavily researched, when accuracy was most important when epic was by numbers and presence and not CGI.
This film for me was as much an education as entertainment - the Epic title was for me a representation of the actual events.
A film that tries and in most part captures what was and still is one of the Greatest Mass Military actions ever attempted.
With everyone in it, so much of a subject to cover and so many things to include it runs to three hours, but you will not notice the time.
Great film covering a monumental event.
