LOVE this movie. If you think this is too far away in history, remember there are still people alive who experienced this. If you want to understand and feel a little of that history, this is the movie to watch about the Normandy, etc.
invasion. You even get a sense of how nuts Hitler became at the end of the war and in 1962, I'm not sure how common a view that was.
