Review of The Long Kiss Goodnight (1996) by Jo D — 23 Feb 2012
Nail-biting frenzy, ahead-of-its-time action flick, eerily prescient of 9-11 attacks (& the Jason Bourne movie of the following decade). Davis' amnesiac spy is easily the government side of the time's Ripley/Sarah-Connors/Xena/Buffy--the extraordinary every-woman.
Sam Jackson nearly being killed over and over brings manic comic relief. "Or course, we'll blame in on the Muslims..." "You can't kill ME, M...F...!!".
