Review of The Long Kiss Goodnight (1996) by Craig B — 18 Mar 2012

This is unfortunately another instance where the whole film falls into the generic Hollywood action flick with the story absurd and only breaching the gaps between showdowns. "The Long Kiss Goodnight" has some entertaining dialogue courtesy of Samuel L.

Jackson but the rest as well as the screenplay is amateurish at best. The whole movie feels as if it's a lighthearted action film with a lot on the line and stretches the boundaries of reality many times in order to maintain it's happy ending and all tied up plot points.

While it's not a cringe worthy film by any means, it is just an average film that takes too many liberties at the expense of the viewer and fails to be more than just a middling 90s action film.
