The Long Kiss Goodnight is quite run of the mill. It funny and exciting but only really moderately so. It is probably best viewed as an alternative Christmas film, a change from the norm but then again it's no Die Hard.
Geena Davis is perhaps the films greatest asset with a good turn in the lead role.
