I am not exactly clear on how Gena Davis could possibly "over do" Charlie (really critics?!) Her character embodied everything the ultimate amnesiac recovering ass kicking woman is supposed to, and she did it before it was cool.
Samuel J. nailed his role as an unsuspecting witness of her slowly emerging and very alarming persona. The dialogue that unfolds as he attempts to cope with the predicament and reason with her split personalies? Priceless.
Long Kiss Goodnight is a returning favorite in my library- and I say this from a place of respect and understanding of every individuals right to voice their own opinion- anyone criticizing this movie is most definitely high.
