Review of The Long Goodbye (1973) by Gino P — 09 May 2009
Another radical re-interpretation of a genre film from the consummate auteur Robert Altman. This film noir detective story is unlike any other. Gould does a wonderful job in his portrayal. However, the story is a little lack luster.
But can you blame Altman? He was never really that interested in story. He much preferred character behavior.
