Review of The Long Good Friday (1980) by Bill B — 07 Jun 2009
A fairly tense gangster flick in which Bob Hoskins must find out who is ruining his business on the very day of a huge business deal that he needs to go through. And by ruining his business I mean blowing up cars and stabbing people to death, not the kinda thing one can just ignore, y'know?
Solid performances and lots of familiar faces make this well worth a rental.
