Review of The Lonely Guy (1984) by Mariana M — 27 Dec 2007
It's hilarious. Of course, it has its negative side - some of the jokes weren't as successful as the expected - but in the end it's worth it. The story itself is pretty unique and the perfomances of both main and secondary characters are impecable.
Really hilarious. But it seems to me that the essence of the film was lost somewhere for some reason. It starts with a REALLY GREAT and UNIQUE story about lonely guys living in a big city and when you realize, you're just watching another silly and pointless movie about love.
Too bad. I guess love sells, right?
