Review of The Loneliness of the Long Distance Runner (1962) by Elgan D — 05 May 2010
Another good example of British New Wave, this is a powerful film that really involves the audience. Courtenay is brilliant as the torn and elusive Colin Smith. Affecting and unforgetable with some wonderful cinematography.
