Review of The Loneliness of the Long Distance Runner (1962) by Alex F — 22 May 2012
A magnificent piece of British New Wave with a fresh and new approach to film-making in the early 60's. A good dose of political statement, with mainly social realism and some poetic realism. Beautiful, insightful and compelling.
A must for any film lover.
