Review of The Lone Ranger (2013) by Brandon C — 06 Apr 2014

This is not the first time I have ever said this and it probably won't be the last. Johnny Depp single handedly made this movie worth the time it took to watch it. That is not to say it was a great movie, it was not, the plot was terrible, the script was worse.

The movie mostly wastes a talented cast, William Fichtner and Helena Bonham Carter are completely wasted with the script and Armie Hammer and Ruth Wilson are total disappointments. But dispite all that, I loved watching Johnny Depp, you constantly want to see what he will do or say next.

I don't regret watching this movie and may even watch it again one day just to remind myself how good Johnny Depp can be even in a bad movie.
