Review of The Lone Ranger (2013) by Tessa S — 02 May 2014
The problem here is that the film plays out like a cheap porno, where all the fancy stuff happens in the first 30 mins and then it's just a long...long...session of blah, blah. Armie Hammer as the Lone Ranger just comes off as a bit of a nerd and Johnny Depp.
..well he just eats so much of the scenery I'm sure the production designers must have had a heart attack. This film looks great, but really needed some trimming (like maybe most of Depps performance).
